Panelists highlighted benefits regular migration provides migrants including legal protection, access to support services, greater safety during travel, and better opportunities for employment and integration. They stressed however migration opportunities should be cross-checked through official institutions and trusted sources, as well as with returned migrants. This is also where stronger collaboration between communities and the media can help counter misinformation, improve public understanding, and support informed migration decisions.
