Social media was identified by panelists on the Dormaa FM radio as a major source of both migration factual and misinformation. The show panelists also encouraged the media to constantly promote radio show programs that helped families to carefully analyse and understand the support they provide their children for migration. Some families push their children into irregular migration while providing huge amounts of money towards their children’s migration ambitions, but most often this money goes to waste. The media was also requested to provide channels for community regular feedback on radio programs and migration experiences.
