Migrant Media Action - The Gambia

Awa Bojang is an Accountancy graduate of the University of The Gambia with solid experience in financial management across public institutions and civil society organizations. She has developed strong expertise in budgeting, financial reporting, internal controls, and compliance, ensuring accountability and efficient resource utilization in project implementation. Awa is passionate about strengthening financial systems that support impactful development initiatives, particularly in areas that intersect with climate change, migration, and social change. Her work is driven by a commitment to transparency, integrity, and sustainable impact. Currently, Lamin's the Manager of Kaira Nyining Community Radio station, where he runs programs like "Youth Bantaba to educate and inform. His experience in youth work and media led him to serve as Regional Coordinator for the Migrant Media Network project in 2020, and now he's Country Coordinator for the Migrant Media Action Project in The Gambia. What drives Lamin is empowering youth and promoting informed decisions on migration. He's passionate about creating positive changes in his community.
